The Ministry Of PUPR Has Completed 13 PSNs During 2023, Here Are The Details

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said that his party had completed 13 National Strategic Projects (PSN) during 2023 to strengthen national infrastructure.

"In 2023, 13 PSNs have been completed. These are six (6) dam projects, four (4) toll road projects, one (1) Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) projects, one (1) flat (rusun) and one (1) self-help stimulant Housing Assistance (BSPS) project," Basuki said in a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Senayan Parliament Building, Jakarta, Monday, April 1.

Basuki said the six (6) dam projects include the Lolak Dam (North Sulawesi), Tiu Suku Dam (West Nusa Tenggara), Karian Dam (Banten), Cipanas Dam (West Java), Sepaku Semoi Dam (East Kalimantan) and Ameroro Dam (Southeast Sulawesi).

Then, the toll road projects that have been completed in 2023 are the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road, the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road, the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road, and the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road.

Furthermore, there are SPAM, flats and BSPS projects that have been completed, namely West Semarang SPAM, Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Base Flat and BSPS to support Asean Summit in Tana Mori and Labuan Bajo.

Basuki said that during 2023 his party also completed post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction in various affected areas, such as in Sigi, Tondo, and Talise, Central Sulawesi, and Cianjur, West Java, with a total budget of IDR 3.25 trillion.

In addition, the Ministry of PUPR has handled 2,873 kilometers (km) of roads and 2.7 km of bridges with a total cost of Rp. 14.6 trillion in order to implement Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 3 of 2023 concerning Accelerating Improvement of Regional Road Connectivity.

According to Basuki, this effort aims to handle damaged non-national roads, improve the connectivity of regional roads with national roads and toll roads, open access to an area from isolation and support the development of new economic growth centers.

"We will continue this Presidential Instruction in 2024, now in the middle of a review with the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) for the preparation of the Budget Implementation List (DIPA)," he said.
