At The Constitutional Court Session, AMIN Witness Called The Central Java Police Gathering Village Heads Ahead Of The Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The National Legal Team (THN) Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) of Central Java said that the Central Java Police had assembled all Karanganyar village heads ahead of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

This was conveyed by Anies Prijo Ansharie who was presented as a fact witness in the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial at the Constitutional Court, Monday, April 1

"First, what we report is related to the inauguration of village heads throughout Karanganyar, except for the city sub-district by the regional police through the head of the village community empowerment service," said Anies.

He said there were 176 village heads who were summoned on November 29, 2023. The context of the summons is related to the use of village funds.

However, the summons was held. Because, at that time it was postponed indefinitely.

"So 176 village heads were summoned by the regional police through the head of the village community empowerment service," he said.

"Because this is related to the use of the provincial BPOD funds that call the regional police. Summoned to the regional police," continued Anies.

However, Anies stated that he did not look directly at the summons of village heads. This is because the alleged mobilization was known to him from another party.

"We got information via Whatsapp to me in the group that it will happen like this," he said.

"You didn't see this yourself?" asked Judge Suhartoyo

"Don't see for yourself. Only in some media there is also that news," Anies replied.

Not only that, Anies also mentioned that there had been consolidation activities of hundreds of village heads that occurred in Temanggung. The goal is to win Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation.

"It was held with the theme of the coordination meeting of the village head of Temanggung Regency for the victory of Pak Prabowo Gibran in 2024 to input Indonesia to advance. It was carried out in a food stall," he said.

"How many people were you?" asked Judge Suhartoyo.

"There is no mention of the number, only all village heads," Anies replied.

Anies said the village head meeting had been reported by THN Temanggung to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu). The report was registered with number 001/LP/PP/KAP/14.33/II/2024 dated February 3.

However, Bawaslu did not follow up on the report. The reason is that the report file is not completed until the specified time limit.

"In the response from Bawaslu, it was not registered because it did not complete the report file until the deadline for correcting the report and Bawaslu's answer occurred on February 16, 2024," said Anies.
