This Is Sri Mulyani's Message After Handing Over LKPP 2023 To BPK
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has submitted the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) for 2023 Unaudid and the 2023 LKPP Examination Entry Meeting to the Financial Audit Agency (BPK).
Sri Mulyani said that 2023 is a year colored by various global dynamics. Starting from geopolitical tensions, weakening the global economy, the phenomenon of higher interest rates for longers, high inflation, climate change, to disruption of digital technology.
"All of these factors have a significant impact on the performance of the Indonesian state budget and economy," Sri Mulyani said in a statement quoted Monday, April 1, 2024.
During the visit, Sri Mulyani conveyed the overall good performance of the State Budget in 2023, especially regarding the growth of state revenues. This shows that Indonesia's economic activities are maintained amidst global uncertainty and the effectiveness of tax reforms that continue to be improved.
"Especially for tax revenues, it has reached a hat-trick 3 times in a row above the APBN target since 2021, 2022 and 2023. This is a very good achievement from the entire state revenue team," he explained.
In addition, Sri Mulyani conveyed that the achievement of strategic output is also an achievement in the implementation of the 2023 State Budget. In this case, the role of the State Budget in protecting the community through social protection programs, education budgets, health budgets and infrastructure.

In line with that, Sri Mulyani stated the government's commitment to continue to improve the quality and performance of the state budget.
"We also expect the cooperation of all Ministries/agencies and government agencies to continue to improve the management of the APBN within the K/L environment, and ask for support from the BPK to continue to provide opinions that are in accordance with the quality of the LKPP and LKKL, of course, we hope that WTP for 2023 will really be Husnul khatimah from the BPK," he said.
Sri Mulyani also revealed that the government together with the House of Representatives (DPR) designed the 2023 State Budget very carefully so that the State Budget remains sustainable, is able to become a shock absorber for the economy and protect the community, but at the same time it can continue the development agenda.
