Land Dispute, Gibran Asks For Sriwedari Mosque Construction To Continue
Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked for the construction of the Sriwedari Mosque in Solo, Central Java, to resume following the dispute over the land that had been completed.
"We encourage this committee foundation to be reactivated to look for CSR. The dispute has been resolved," said Gibran, in Solo, Monday, April 1.
According to him, WIKA as a construction contractor has also stated its commitment to continue the construction process of the Sriwedari Mosque.
"Yes, it's just a matter of movement, it can be continued again," he also said.
According to him, the obstacle is the lack of budget for development. Related to this, he asked the committee to ask questions.
Meanwhile, in the previous construction, the committee was chaired by the former Mayor of Surakarta, Achmad Purnomo.
"Anyway, we are committed to continuing this until it is finished. If we communicate with the committee, we will definitely do it," he also said.
