Turbokidz Invites Listeners To Rediscover Yourself Through 'Perfection'

JAKARTA - Ican Pane through its music project named Turbokidz released their first single in 2024 which was titled Perfection.

The launch of Perfection marks the consistency of Turbokidz which has always produced new works in the last four years.

"Perfection tells the story of a discovery of taste or a place that makes us find ourselves again. The taste or place could be parents, lovers, or friends, it feels perfect," said Ican Pane in her statement, Sunday, March 31.

Using English lyrics and music dominated by synthesizers and guitar riffs, Ican Pane makes an energetic arrangement to make listeners dance.

"The difference with previous works, Perfection and other songs that will be present at the mini album later is the result of creative discussions with friends who collaborated in the process. From the selection of drums, guitar tones, bass, and even vocals, they were directed," said Ican.

In the process of recording songs, Ican Pane was assisted by several musicians, such as Iqbal Firdaus as the drummer for the indie-rock group from Bogor, as well as Texpack and Ivan Wirawan from the Local Happiert group. Meanwhile, other instruments such as guitar, synthesizer and vocals are filled by Ican himself.
