Ahead Of Lebaran Homecoming, Police Tighten Security At Bakauheni Port
LAMPUNG SELATAN - In order to provide a sense of security and comfort to prospective travelers of Lebaran 2024, the South Lampung Resort Police (Polres), the Lampung Police have tightened security and supervision in the Bakauheni Port area.
South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin, in Kalianda, Saturday, asked all his staff to provide a sense of security and comfort to travelers who will cross the South Lampung region, both people from Sumatra to Java and vice versa.
"On the (03/4) date, all of them will carry out troop titles simultaneously, so South Lampung itself will set up 11 Pam posts and two service posts that we will establish at Bakauheni ports and airports," he said, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 30.
He said, in the Bakauheni Port area, it is one of the vulnerable points for congestion and accumulation of vehicles, because the area is a place for entry and exit or gate for the island of Sumatra.
Monitoring of surveillance is not only carried out for passengers who want to cross or come to the port, but also for two-wheeled, four-wheeled drivers and freight cars.
