Ahead Of Eid 2024, The Minister Of Home Affairs Asked 416 Regents To Maintain Price Stability And Security
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian asked 416 regents who are members of the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (Apkasi) to maintain economic and security stability in their respective regions ahead of Eid.
"Especially (regarding) foodstuffs and others," Tito said in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday, March 28.
In addition to maintaining food supply, the Minister of Home Affairs also appealed to local governments (Pemda) to anticipate accidents in the flow of Eid homecoming.
Therefore, local governments are asked to ensure that security and safety standards on public transportation are carried out properly. For example, the availability of buoys as mandatory facilities on ferry ships.
