Before Going Home, It Is Important To Check The Feet Of The Vehicle So That The Travel Is Safe And Comfortable
Welcoming the Lebaran homecoming, the preparation of private vehicles is the main thing for the community to ensure their journey is comfortable. Although cars have sufficient capacity to carry many passengers and goods, car users must pay attention to various aspects so that their vehicles are always in prime condition, including the legs.
The head of the Cilandak Auto2000 Workshop, Sapta Agung Nugraha, emphasized the importance of examining several components of the legs to ensure a comfortable journey. These components include Shock Absorber, Ban, Disc Brake, Bearing Wheel, and Lower Arm.
"It is very important to ensure that the condition of the absorber shock does not leak. Leaks in the absorber shock will make the car feel uncomfortable crossing the bumpy road. In addition, make sure to check the wear of the tires according to standards," Sapta explained to VOI, Wednesday, March 27.
Sapta also explained that the braking section is one of the important aspects that must be considered. If there is a vibration in the disc brake, it is necessary to flatten the surface of the component.
"If you feel a vibration while braking, it's a sign that disc brake needs to be worked out. In addition, make sure to check the condition of the front and rear brakes to function properly," added Sapta.

Furthermore, the wheel bearing and lower arm should also not be ignored because both can affect the vehicle's performance when turning.
"Jika Anda mendengar bungung saat kendaraan berjalan, itu mungkin akibat bearing rode yang perlu diganti. Sedangkan tanda-tanda kerusakan pada lower arm biasanya terjadi saat berubah atau melintas jalanan yang rusak," tambahnya.
Sapta also gives advice to vehicle users to avoid some activities while driving in order to maintain the condition of their legs, such as avoiding carrying excessive loads.
"Always avoid roads that are inundated with water, and immediately clean the vehicle if it is exposed to mud. In addition, do not carry a load that exceeds capacity, and do routine smearing to check the condition of the legs," concluded Sapta.
