Mediation Successful, Ministry Of Manpower: Two Companies Cancel Paying THR After Eid

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has succeeded in mediating two companies with their unions regarding the payment of the 2024 religious holiday allowance (THR). Where the company agreed to pay before D-7 Lebaran.

The Director General of Industrial Relations and Employment Social Security (PHI-JSK) of the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri, said that initially there were two companies that wanted to pay the 2024 Religious THR to their workers after Lebaran.

"Initially there were (two companies that wanted to pay after D-7)," he said when met at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, written Wednesday, March 27.

However, Indah said that because there was a complaint report to the Ministry of Manpower, a summons was made to the management of companies and workers.

After mediation, continued Indah, the company and workers agreed that the 2024 Religious THR would be paid before the deadline set by the government.

"But we mediate that finally there is an agreement with workers to be paid D-7 Lebaran. Alhamdulillah. At first we wanted to pay after Lebaran," he said.

There Is A Report Company, Pay THR After Eid

Previously, Indah revealed that there were already companies that had reported to the Ministry of Manpower to pay Religious THR to their workers after Eid Al-Fitr 2024.

"For this reason, we will continue to assist as much as possible so that the Religious THR can be paid according to the SE of the Minister of Manpower," he said at a press conference at the Ministry of Manpower Office, Jakarta, Monday, March 18.

Putri also explained that there must be a joint decision between workers and employers if they are forced to pay their Religious THR after the holiday with certain conditions that cannot be anticipated.

"We remain optimistic that God willing, the THR will be paid on time," he said.
