JAKARTA - One year the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged in Indonesia. Various industrial sectors have been forced to stop activities that could have brought economic benefits, including music concerts.
Today, Wednesday, March 3, Indonesian promoters and musicians unanimously voiced their longing for the music concert to President Jokowi, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Minister of Health, Commission X of the Indonesian Parliament, and the Indonesian COVID-19 Task Force.

A statement letter from 14 initiators and entertainment industry organizations in Indonesia expressed the desire to restart the music concert. They include, among others, Fesmi (Federation of Indonesian Musicians Union), APMI (Association of Indonesian Music Promoters), Imarindo (Association of Indonesian Artist Management) and the Indonesian Jazz Forum.

They hope the government can give confidence to the music concert industry players to restart stage activities slowly but surely. "All of us, who have made it this far, can see the vaccination start, and that's where we can see the light", read a statement posted on social media.
"We have a network of people who have the capacity to influence their followers to make the implementation of health protocols based on cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability that have been prepared by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and we are willing to be audited at any time".
