There Is No News Of Prabowo's Plan To Visit PPP
Deputy Chairperson of PPP Amir Uskara said there was no information regarding the news that the elected president Prabowo Subianto would visit his party's office.
The visit was called to thank the Plt Ketum PPP Mardiono to Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the winners of the 2024 presidential election.
"I think if we stay in touch whenever we don't have a problem, we will accept it, we will feel honored if that happens. But until now there has been no confirmation regarding it officially," said Amir, Tuesday, March 26.
Amir did not want to comment on the news of Prabowo's visit to PPP to invite him to join his government. According to him, the matter of the coalition will be decided through a party mechanism, such as Mukernas.
"If it is related to the coalition, there must be an internal mechanism, but if it is for friendship, we will definitely accept it," explained Amir.
"In our internal, there is a mechanism, if it is related to important decisions, for example, whether there is an opposition or whether there is a coalition with Gerindra, there is a mechanism. The same when we agreed to support Pak Ganjar yesterday, it was through the Mukernas mechanism within the party. We can also do that to say which position we are in," he continued.

So far, said Amir, there has been no internal vote to join the Prabowo-Gibran coalition. The reason is, the party is focusing on guarding the lawsuit at the Constitutional Court (MK) so that the votes of the Kaaba Party return and can qualify for parliament.
"Until now, there have been no voices related to the internal coalition. What is currently how to guard our voices, especially those that yesterday we considered there were many who were scattered by the PPP voices, which we actually accumulated so that we could collect back to be able to pass parliament," he concluded.
