Prabowo: I Will Not Compromise To Corruption

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto emphasized that he would suppress corruptors in Indonesia after he was sworn in as the 8th president of the Republic of Indonesia. He emphasized that there was no compromise for perpetrators of corruption.

"We will close all leaks, we are trying to minimize corruption, and I remind you that the government that I lead will not compromise with corruption," said Prabowo during a gathering and breaking the fast with TKN at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, March 25.

The Gerindra general chairman said he would not be afraid to remove poverty from Indonesian soil.

"We prove it, we can do it," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said the mandate to become president is a noble assignment. Therefore, he promised to carry out the mandate wholeheartedly and with full responsibility.

"I accept this mandate as a noble assignment as the task of the Indonesian people that I will carry out wholeheartedly, with a full sense of responsibility to the Indonesian people," said Prabowo.
