BMKG Civil Servant Bone Bolango Arrested By Mesum Arrested, Record 6 Women In Toilets For Personal Consumption
GORONTALO - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Bone Bolango Police, Gorontalo Province, secured and detained an individual Civil Servant (PNS) who recorded the activities of women in office toilets with hidden cell phones (cell phones).Bone Bolango Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Alli said the civil servant had the initials RE (29) a resident of Gorontalo Regency. He works at the Bone Bolango Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG)."The victims were six women who were still in the same office as the perpetrators, one of whom was RA who reported this incident to us. It happened at the Gorontalo BMKG Office, Moutong Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency," Muhammad Alli said in Gorontalo, Antara, Sunday, March 24.According to him, this incident occurred on October 19, 2023 at around 14.00 WITA. When the victim RA was in the toilet, he saw and suspected two bottles of cleaning fluid placed on one side of the room.This suspicion made the victim examine it and found that one of the cleaning bottles had been split and holed, in which there was a cell phone (cellphone) unit that was still recording.From the confession of the perpetrators of RE, said the Police Chief, the person concerned entered the toilet, then set the video camera from the cellphone, then put it in a bottle of cleaning liquid that had been filled.The bottle was placed by RE in the corner of the bathroom floor with the camera position pointing to the toilet. The perpetrator then left the cellphone in the toilet while recording the video."According to his confession, this action has been around since 2020. However, he has been vulnerable for a long time with the intention of only private consumption," said the Police Chief.
For his actions, RE will be charged with pornographic crimes and applied to Article 29 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography, or Article 14 paragraph (1) letter a of Law no. 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence.
