When Bahlil Guyon Went To Sandiaga To Pay The Highest Tax, But Less Than 4 Percent
JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia joked with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno because the United Development Party did not pass the parliamentary threshold of 4 percent.
"Mr. Bahlil, there is always a joke. The joke is Mr. Bahlil, the tax payment is the highest, but 4 percent is lacking," Sandiaga said at the State Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 22.
The two ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet came to the State Palace to report the 2024 Tax Annual Notification (SPT).
However, Sandiaga, who is also the chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Election Winning Body, admitted that he was not offended by the joke because he and Bahlil had been friends since childhood, so joked was a normal thing.
In fact, Sandiaga revealed that President Joko Widodo, who heard the joke, also laughed.
"No, our people are friends from childhood. So, the President also laughed and kept saying 'Most of Mr. Sandi's prayers, the efforts have been done, the prayers are added'," said Sandiaga.
Meanwhile, Bahlil also considered his jokes to Sandiaga like brothers and sisters.
"I'm with him, brother and sister. He's the Head of Hipmi, senior. Just joking," said Bahlil.
