In addition to the two fields above, WK Nunukan still has other potentials, including Parang Field which is estimated to have a resource of 91 Billion Cubic Feet (BCF) based on the calculation of the drilling results of three exploration wells, namely Parang 1 ( 2016-2017), Parang 2 and Parang 3 (2020-2021).
This estimate has been recorded in the reporting of oil and gas resources based on the status as of January 1, 2024.
Handri hopes that the support of stakeholders around the Nunukan WK operation area will make the Badik and West Badik Field development plan run smoothly.
"We believe that the sustainability of the Company's oil and gas investment will have a multiplier impact on economic development, employment, local business growth, government income, and increasing community independence," concluded Handri.
