Attorney General's Office Deepens The Flow Of Ex-Asabri Boss's Money To His Close Friends
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has examined a witness from the private sector named Rinawan or RB in the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri.
RB is close to the former President Director of PT Asabri, Lieutenant General Sonny Widjaja, a suspect in this case.
Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah said RB was being investigated in connection with the alleged flow of Asabri's corruption funds from Sonny Widjaja.
"The connection is that there is money flowing from Sonny through him (Rinawan), he lives in Bandung, so it is confirmed to him", Febrie told reporters, Wednesday, March 3.
Meanwhile, for the other two witnesses, Febrie did not elaborate on his connection to the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri. What is clear, they are examined to clarify the role of these witnesses.
Meanwhile, the AGO has examined seven witnesses regarding the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri. Three of the witnesses were private parties who were in contact with the two suspects, Lieutenant General Sonny Widjaja and Hari Setiono.
"SJS and RB as private parties are connected with Sonny Widjaja. Then, SP as private parties are connected with Hari Setiono", said Head of the AGO's Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak.
The other four witnesses are directors and employees of several companies. They were examined to look for legal facts and evidence related to the alleged corruption of PT Asabri.
"DH (PT Indopremier Sekuritas Equity Sales), DB (President Director of PT Eureka Prima Jakarta, Tbk), I (Director of PT J Exploration Bahari Utama), and WS (Director of PT Cipta Anugerah Sejati)," he said.
