Texcal Energy Mahato Records Production of 7,605 Barrels of Oil per Day
JAKARTA - Texcal Mahato has successfully recorded positive performance by achieving its oil and gas production target in the first quarter of 2024. Since starting production in 2020, Texcal Energy Mahato's production figures have reached 7,605 BOPD and will continue to increase because exploration of new wells continues to be carried out.
Field Superintendent Texcal Mahato, Rizaldy Syafriadi, said that since starting production in 2020 until now the oil and gas field's production figures have continued to increase.
"At the end of 2023, the production figure for Texcal Mahato Peak Production was 7,605 BOPD. Currently we will complete all commitments on the field-1 optimization development project with a total of 15 wells in the first quarter of 2024," said Rizaldi in a statement to the media, Thursday 21 March.
Rizaldi said that currently, actual oil lifting is equivalent to 126 percent of the APBN target. Texcal Energy Mahato is optimistic that oil and gas production figures will continue to increase due to ongoing exploration prospects.
"We hope that there will be new reserves that we can produce," added Rizaldi.
Meanwhile, the Head of SKK Migas Sumbagut Representative, Rikky Rahmat Firdaus, expressed his appreciation to KKKS Texcal Mahato.
In the midst of the hydrometereological disaster that occurred in Riau Province, it has provided positive achievements for the upstream oil and gas industry. He conveyed this during a direct visit to the Petapahan field in Kampar Regency, Riau.
Furthermore, Rikky hopes that drilling performance in the second quarter will also be able to meet the target so that it is ready to increase production.
"In the field, as supervisors, we continue to monitor and encourage KKKS to continue actively drilling to increase national oil and gas production targets, including if there are obstacles encountered in the field, we will work together to resolve them in accordance with technical aspects and applicable regulations," explained Rikky.
