Prabowo-Gibran Wins, Cak Imin Alludes To Presidential Election Fraud From Regulation To Intervention
JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar expressed abnormality to fraud in the 2024 presidential election process. Cak Imin strengthened his joint steps with Anies Baswedan to advance to the Constitutional Court (MK).
"It is common knowledge that we have encountered these various shortcomings long before voting day, ranging from regulatory engineering to intervention of state tools, and all of this has become a media note and has become a public record," said Cak Imin in response to the results of the 2024 presidential election national plenary recapitulation at the KPU in a written statement, Wednesday, March 20.
Cak Imin asked the legal team of the AMIN national team to ensure readiness to sue for the results of the 2024 presidential election.
"So, in order to fight for the voices of those who believe in change and remain steadfast until the end, we have decided to ask the AMIN National Team Legal Team to go to the Constitutional Court and convey to the panel of judges and the wider public the various shortcomings and irregularities that occurred during the presidential election process this time," said Cak Imin.

In a written statement, Ccapres Anies Baswedan stated that he was ready to file a lawsuit on the results of the 2024 presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK). The KPU previously named Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the winner of the vote.
"Ladies and gentlemen, leaders born from processes tarnished by fraud and irregularities will produce a regime that produces policies that are full of injustice and we don't want this to happen," said Anies.
Anies emphasized that in the principles of modern democracies, non-normalities and deviations "refined" according to the rules, they apply.
"The steps we are taking are not getting angry and making initiatives to the public, but our step is to gather all the evidence to be brought to justice. We want this country to continue to build political maturity, not back and forth near the pre-reforming period," he explained.
Although he realizes that there are parties who are trying to degrade the constitutional business of the AMIN national team, these various irregularities according to Anies cannot be tolerated.
