Police Investigate Sarong War In South Lampung Kills 14-Year-Old Boy

The war between rejuvenate sarongs in Kalida, South Lampung Regency killed a 14-year-old boy. The police are investigating the incident.

South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin said the sarong war killed a junior high school student with the initials LRF on Monday, March 18 evening.

"The sarong brawl was carried out by the children by winning their sarongs against the opponent," he said in Kalida, South Lampung Regency, Tuesday, March 19, which was confiscated by Antara.

AKBP Yusriandi said that his party continues to carry out patrols to prevent crimes by teenagers such as brawls and illegal racing.

On Monday, March 8 at around 20.30 WIB, a sarong war broke out between a teenager from Kecapi Village and a teenager from Pematang Village, which resulted in a death.

According to witnesses from local residents, said the Police Chief, the victim was taken to the Kecapi Village Midwife. However, the victim's condition has weakened.

Therefore, the midwife could no longer afford it, then the victim was taken to the Balar Kalidaub Hospital. The victim could no longer be helped.

The police chief appealed to the public and parents in South Lampung to continue to look after and supervise children from criminal acts.

"Don't let our children become victims or sarong war players. Make sure after Tarawih prayers the children are already at home not to roam around that is not clear," he said.
