The Attorney General's Office Is Happy That The South Jakarta District Court Rejects The Pretrial Of Crazy Rich Surabaya Budi Said
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office appreciates the decision of the South Jakarta District Court on a pretrial lawsuit with applicant Crazy Rich Surabaya Budi Said, a suspect in the criminal act of illegal corruption in the sale of PT Antam's precious metals. "On the pretrial decision, it can be explained that the law enforcement action by the Attorney General's team in this case is in accordance with formal procedures, both investigations, searches, and confiscations, as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code and the Corruption Eradication Law," said the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana Tuesday, March 19. Kapuspenkum stated that this was in response to the decision of the South Jakarta District Court which did not accept Budi Said's pretrial lawsuit. one of them was read out by the sole judge Lusiana yesterday at the South Jakarta District Court. The judge granted the exception or objection of the Attorney General's legal team to the investigation which became the object of pretrial so as not to proceed to the pretrial material examination stage. in the case of Budi Said, Ketut said that the investigation team of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes had examined 52 witnesses and named two witnesses as suspects, one of them Budi Said. "Although two suspects have been determined, it is possible that this case will continue to circulate on the parties who received profits from this case," said Ketut.

Ketut, who also serves as Head of the Bali High Prosecutor's Office, added that the investigative team is currently investigating and developing related to the alleged corruption case in the sale of gold precious metals, PT Antam. Budi Said, a businessman who lives in Surabaya, was named a suspect after undergoing an examination at the Jakarta Round Building (Jampidsus), last Thursday, then the person concerned was immediately detained at the Salemba Rutan, the Attorney General's Office in order to speed up the investigation.
