Support IKN Development, Budget Absorption Authority Of IDR 271 Billion Throughout 2023
The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) reported that the absorption of the budget to support IKN development reached IDR 271.71 billion throughout 2023.
OIKN Head Bambang Susantono said the realization of the budget reached 95.04 percent of the OIKN ceiling allocation in 2023 of IDR 285.9 billion.
"We can reach 95 percent because the need is also of course (realization can be) greater than what was (explained) here," said Bambang at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, quoted on Tuesday, March 19.
Bambang detailed that the realization of the Rp271.71 billion budget was absorbed by 9 echelon 1 units to support the development of the new capital city located in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan.
Referring to the presentations shared, the OIKN Secretariat is the largest to absorb the budget, reaching Rp174.13 billion. Next, the Deputy for Planning and Land absorpts a budget of Rp20.30 billion.
Then, there is the Deputy for Environment and Natural Resources with details of the Deputy for Environment and Natural Resources amounting to Rp14.89 billion, the Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation Rp13.18 billion and the Deputy for Development Control Rp12.15 billion.
Furthermore, the Deputy for Funding and Investment Rp11.13 billion, the Deputy for Social, Culture and Community Empowerment Rp10.53 billion, the Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure Rp8.67 billion and the Legal and Compliance Work Unit Rp8.14 billion.
As for this year, the budget allocation owned by OIKN is IDR 434 billion which is divided into all deputies and secretariats.

Broadly speaking, the budget allocation will be used to support two main programs, namely the development of strategic areas of 46.7 percent or Rp202.89 billion.
Meanwhile, the remaining Rp231.12 billion or 53.3 percent of the total budget to run the management support program.
"Indeed, if you look at it, people with trillions of budget perceptions [IKN development], but from our side to coordinate, collaborate, communication and consolidation, this is a budget used of around Rp. 434 billion," he added.
