Starbucks Stops Odyssey NFT Program At The End Of March

JAKARTA - Starbucks announced it will end its NFT program, Starbucks Odyssey, which is currently still rolling out in beta at the end of March.

"Starbucks Odyssey Beta must end to prepare for what will happen next as we continue to develop this program," the company wrote in its official announcement, quoted on Sunday, March 17.

This program will officially close on March 31, 2024. The point owners have until March 25, 2024 to complete the remaining journey.

Launched in 2022, Starbucks Odyssey is an experience supported by Web3 technology, which provides members of Starbucks Rewards in the US with the opportunity to get and buy a digital collection (NFT) Warko, which can later be used to open access to new prizes and interactive experiences.

After that, members will be rewarded after completing the trip on the 'tap trip' (NFT). Members can also buy 'finite edition stamps' (NFT) regularly through the market in Starbucks Odyssey's web application experience.

In addition, members will also get points to complete travel activities.

Any collectible digital stamps will include bonus points, and stamps can be purchased or sold.

"While the Starbucks Odyssey Beta program is over, we are very pleased you can see what will happen next and thank you for your consistent engagement and input," the company wrote further.

With the termination of the Starbucks Odyssey Beta program, the validity period of the members' points will run out automatically.
