Observers Of National Reconciliation Values Need To Be Built From Long Days

JAKARTA - A political observer who is also the Executive Director of Indonesia Political Review (IPR) Ujang Komarudin said that national reconciliation after the 2024 election should need to be built long before the election results are issued by the KPU. According to him, efforts to reconcile the national with a safe, peaceful, smooth, and full of kinship cannot be carried out suddenly or suddenly. So according to him, the discourse on reconciliation needs to be moved before March 20, 2024 or before the announcement of the election results. "It takes reconciliation to unite all the strengths of the nation's components," said Ujang when contacted in Jakarta, Sunday. He said national reconciliation efforts need to be carried out by a number of national figures, political figures, as well as the winning parties or the losing parties. According to him, these parties need to show that they can embrace each other.

The Al Azhar University of Indonesia academics considers that building a nation certainly will not be able to be built with a group of people, but must work together with between groups of people in Indonesia. Especially for the losers and the winners, he also suggested that they jointly carry out reconciliation for the sake of Indonesia's development in the next 5 years. In addition, according to him, reconciliation will actually restore national unity and integrity of the nation. "Therefore, all components of the nation, both from political parties and individuals, groups, have a big role to play in being able to reconcile," he said. Currently, the KPU is still in the process of recapitulating the results of calculating the national level of vote acquisition. Based on KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the 2024 General Election recapitulation process will take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
