Supporting The Nusantara IKN Program, The Ministry Of Manpower Prioritizes The Revitalization Of The Samarinda K3 Hall

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) prioritizes the revitalization of the Samarinda Health and Safety Center (K3), East Kalimantan to support the development program of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

"The revitalization of the Samarinda K3 Hall does not escape the strategic plan for the development of the Nusantara Capital City," said Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah in a statement in Jakarta quoted by Antara, Sunday.

He said that in order to be able to support the needs of K3 in the IKN development project, the revitalization plan would cover several important aspects.

The aspect is in the form of revitalization in terms of improving K3 testing facilities and infrastructure and building facilities for the main K3 Samarinda Hall.

According to him, revitalization is also targeting an increase in the quality of capabilities for human resources at Balai K3 Samarinda, which is located side by side with North Penajam Paser Regency.

The Minister of Manpower assessed that the number of development projects in IKN that are predicted to run in the long term will become the background for the revitalization.

He said Balai K3 Samarinda must be prepared to be at the forefront to ensure the smooth and security of the workers involved in the IKN development project.

In addition, the Balai must also be able to answer the challenges of expanding the range of K3 testing from its massive development which will take place in East Kalimantan in line with the IKN later.
