Honda Make Sure To Launch Two New Cars In Neighboring Countries, City Hatchback And Civic Facelift?

JAKARTA - Honda Malaysia will present two new models until the end of 2024 for the local market, with an emphasis on the hybrid model e:HeV which is claimed to provide a mix of fuel efficiency and driving pleasure.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Friday, March 15, it is almost certain that the two models that will launch will later be offered in two mixes of gasoline and electric engines.

It is estimated that one of the newest models, the Honda City Hatchback facelift, has previously launched in Thailand. This facelift version design offers a redesign on the front where it is equipped with a more sporting grip and bumper. Meanwhile, for the e:HEV model, new USB-C ports on the back.

Regarding the heartburn, City Hatchback is expected to be powered by the same powertrain as before, including the i-VTEC DOHC engine which produces 121 PS power and a 145 Nm torque that is naturally supplied by CVT transmission, as well as the 109 PS electric motor and 253 Nm torque in the e:HEV version combined with a 1.5 liter, 127 Nm gasoline engine as the generator.

Apart from City Hatchback, the next model that is expected to launch is the Civic facelift. This one model was featured on the Tokyo Auto Salon in January as the Civic RS Prototype by introducing a new front bumper design with a higher hexagonal grip. Honda also added a large bottom grip and a slimmer side air entry channel reminiscent of the latest FL5 Civic Type R.

Like City Hatchback, Civic facelift is also expected to maintain the same engine, namely 1.5 liters of VTEC Turbo with 182 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque.
