PT KAI has confirmed that the route between Semarang Tawang Station and Alastua Station, Semarang City, can be passed again by a series of trains following the floods that hit the capital city of Central Java.
"It has receded and can be passed at a limited speed," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang Franoto Wibowo as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 15.
According to him, the first train that passed after the reopening of the flooded route was the Joglosemarkerto train related Semarang-Solo.
