Arrest 3 Youths In South Kalimantan Tapin, Police Confiscate 62 Grams Of Dried Marijuana

The Tapin Police in South Kalimantan (Kalsel) arrested three youths involved in drug abuse with 62 grams of dried marijuana as evidence.

Head of the Tapin Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Mara Halim Harahap, said that the disclosure of this case began with the arrest of a man with the initials MR (20) on Wednesday, March 13 at 12.30 WITA.

"We got three packages of 2.69 grams of clean marijuana from MR," he said in Rantau, Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan, Friday, March 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

Harahap said MR, a resident of Barabai, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, was arrested at a food stall on Pelda Bunawar Street, Binuang District, Tapin Regency.

A moment later, 30 minutes later, not far from the location of this restaurant, the police managed to arrest BN (28), a man from A. Yani Pura Village, Binuang District.

"There is 10.49 grams in the glass jar container, we got it in A. Yani Pura Village, precisely in a boarding house," he said.

Not satisfied with these two catches, on the same day members of the Narcotics Unit re-developed and managed to catch MS (27) in Banjarbaru City.

"We got two packages of marijuana-type narcotics weighing 49.19 grams," he said.

Harahap said that BN, who is a scholar, was arrested in his house on Karang Anyar Street, Guntung Payung Village, Banjarbaru City.

"We found the evidence in his room," he said.

Now, all these youths who are named suspects are undergoing legal proceedings, they are languishing in Tapin Police custody for further investigation

"Everything is just users," he said.

Thus, these three youths were charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) Sub-Article 112 Paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
