Police Collision When Ambushed, Motorcycle Thief From Tangerang Shot In Benoa Bali
The motorcycle thief, Syaprudin Muhamad Masir (46) from Tangerang, Banten, was shot by the police for resisting arrest and hitting a member of the Benoa Police, Denpasar, Bali.
Denpasar Deputy Chief of Police AKBP I Made Bayu Sutha said the perpetrators stole a Honda Beat motorbike and four cell phones at a shop in the Benoa area, on Friday (1/3).
"In addition to stealing motorbikes, the suspect also took away four cellphones," said AKBP Bayu Sutha at the Benoa Police Headquarters, Bali, Thursday, March 14.
The perpetrator, known as Bro's nickname, stole a motorbike in front of the Citra shop on Jalan Raya, Benoa Harbor during the day. At that moment, the perpetrator stole a cellphone beside the shop terrace while the employee was busy serving the buyer.
"As a result of this incident, the victim suffered a total loss of Rp. 27 million and immediately reported to the police," he added.

From this report, the perpetrator was arrested. The police had chased the perpetrator until the perpetrator hit one of the police personnel.
"We brought the suspect to the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Bali Police for medical treatment. After that, he and the evidence were brought to the Benoa Police Headquarters for processing according to the applicable law," said Benoa Police Chief, Kompol I Wayan Sueca.
From the results of the examination, it was found that the perpetrators were recidivist in the case of sharp weapons (sajam) in 2017 and theft in 2018.
