BYD Atto 3 Experiencing Updates For The Thai Market, Prices Drop

JAKARTA - BYD Atto 3 is experiencing an update to the Thai market, both in terms of exterior and interior, even the battery capacity has also increased from the previous version.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Wednesday, March 13, this electric car, which has also been present in Indonesia, comes in the Standard Range version of Thailand, with two trim: Dynamic variants, priced at 899,000 baths (Rp 392 million), and Premium for 949,900 baths (Rp 411 million) - much more affordable than the previous version which sold for 1,099,900 baths (Rp480 million). Extended Range version of Atto 3 2024 is scheduled to be launched later this year, while delivery of the Standard Range unit will begin in May 2024.

Atto 3 2024 for Thailand received an update on its battery capacity, now with a package of 50.25 kWh, which is larger than the previous version, increasing its reach to 410 km in NEDC calculations. Other changes include black coatings on the exterior D pillar and new 18-inch rims with updated designs for the Dynamic variant.

Not only that, the new start feature has been added, where the car can be turned on by simply pressing the brake pedal, without the need to press the start button previously provided.

Entering the cabin, the previously 12.8-inch infotainment display is now increased to 15.6 inches and supports an optional karaoke function. The interior coating is also updated with a new color scheme, including a combination of blue-gray or blue-black.

Standard equipment on Atto 3 Standard Range Dynamic for Thailand 2024 includes LED headlights, automatic high beam with a follow-me-home function, DRL LED, LED rearlight full of sequential sequin light, panoramic sunroof, and side-view mirrors equipped with defogger.

Powertrain remains unchanged, with 204 PS power and 310 Nm torque for front wheels, capable of reaching 0-100 km/hour in just 7.3 seconds.
