Indonesia AirAsia Prepares 350 Thousand Seats During The Eid 2024 Period
JAKARTA - Airlines with the cost of saving Indonesia AirAsia have prepared 350,000 flight seats during the Eid period which will take place from April 3-18, 2024, as an effort to anticipate the surge in travelers.
"Indonesia AirAsia has prepared various strategic steps in anticipating a surge in travelers, one of which is by providing at least 160 to 250 additional flights to accommodate the high demand for aircraft tickets during the Eid period," said Indonesian President Director AirAsia Veranita Yosephine, quoted by Antara in Jakarta, Tuesday.
The number of seats increased by 27 percent compared to the same period in 2023. It was recorded that in 2023, around 2.1 million passengers had used this cost-effective flight to travel to various destinations in Indonesia.
As of February 2024, the domestic routes that have reached 12 routes, with the latest routes being Denpasar-Kupang and Denpasar-Lampung.
He also said that his party is trying to support the government in controlling the high interest of people who want to go home by providing more fleet capacity. This is expected to help stabilize aircraft ticket prices in the market and can still be reached by travelers.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, the number of travelers traveling by plane during the Lebaran 2024 homecoming period from 3-18 April 2024 is predicted to reach 4,406,641 people. This figure has increased by 12 percent compared to the Eid period in 2023.
Thus, his party will prioritize the comfort, security, and safety of passengers on every flight.
All passengers using this flight on the domestic route will get a free cabin baggage quota of 7 kg and a trunk quota of 20 kg.
He also appealed to customers who will travel to meet the travel requirements according to the latest provisions set by the government.
