Search PT Taspen's Office, KPK Confiscates Electronic Documents And Evidence

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigative team confiscated documents, electronic evidence (BBE), and financial records while searching the PT Taspen (Persero) office on Friday, March 8 yesterday.

The KPK also found the same evidence at the office of a private party located at Office 8 Building SCBD, South Jakarta.

"During the search at the 2 locations, the team found documents, BBE and financial records that were suspected to be related to the case," said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement, Monday, March 11.

Ali Fikri said the evidence was allegedly related to the alleged corruption case in a fictitious investment activity at PT Taspen which was being investigated by the KPK. "Disita as evidence of case files," said Ali.

In the process of this investigation, the KPK also targeted the apartments and residences of the litigants. The investigative team has also confiscated records of financial investment, BBE, and a number of money in foreign currency denominations.

In the ongoing process, the KPK has submitted prevention abroad to the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for the President Director of PT Taspen Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih (ANS) and Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto as the President Director of Insight Investments Management. Based on information, the two people have been named by the KPK as suspects.

Recently, SOE Minister Erick Thohir has also released Kosasih from the position of President Director of PT Taspen.
