Cianjur Regency Government Threatens To Revoke Permits For Violating Entertainment Places During Ramadan
CIANJUR - The Cianjur Regency Government, West Java, will apply strict sanctions in the form of sealing to the revocation of permits for nightclubs that continue to operate during Ramadan.
The Regent of Cianjur, Herman Suherman in Cianjur Sunday, said that his party had instructed the Cianjur Satpol PP to submit a letter of prohibition to owners or managers of nightclubs not allowed to operate during the fasting month.
"Strict sanctions other than sealing, including business licenses, will be revoked if stubbornly continues to operate during the fasting month, including restaurant owners having to adjust the opening hours to honor residents who carry out worship," he said, as reported by Antara, Sunday, March 10.
Herman explained that restaurant owners are allowed to open their businesses before the entry of the opening time or evening at 17.00 WIB specifically for wrapping or take-away services, not eating on the spot.

In order to ensure that the ban runs, his party asked the Cianjur Satpol PP to coordinate with the authorities to carry out supervision and control, so that the Cianjur people who mostly fast can carry out worship safely and comfortably.
"We make sure everyone supports the ban, and no one violates it because strict sanctions will be applied, including restaurant owners will be sealed when caught by officers," he said.
To maintain the safety and comfort of Muslims in carrying out worship during the fasting month, his party also prohibits any raids carried out by community organizations under any pretext because there are already responsible officers.
"Don't act alone or in the name of the organization, let's take care of each other's unity and integrity during fasting. Immediately report if you find a place of business that violates the operational prohibition during fasting," he said.
