Searching PT Taspen's Office, KPK Confiscates Documents And Financial Records Related To Alleged Corruption

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated a number of evidence related to allegations of corruption while searching the PT Taspen (Persero) office.The search was carried out on Friday, March 8. In addition to the BUMN office, the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, said that evidence was also found at the office of the private sector at Office 8 Building SCBD, South Jakarta."During the search at the 2 locations, the team found documents, BBE (electronic evidence), and financial records that were suspected to be related to the case," Ali told reporters, Sunday, March 10.Ali revealed that the confiscated evidence from the PT Taspen office and the private office were brought by the investigative team for the purposes of investigating the case."Immediately confiscated as evidence of case files," he said.So far, the KPK has conducted searches in 7 locations related to this alleged fictitious investment corruption. Apart from the office, the location of the KPK search is the residence and apartment unit.Previously reported, the KPK revealed that it was investigating allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero). It is suspected that there was a fictitious investment involving other companies that caused the state to lose hundreds of billions.Meanwhile, during the KPK investigation, Rina Lauwy, who is the ex-wife of the President Director of PT Taspen, Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih, on Friday, September 1, 2023. He admitted that he was asked for information regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption.At that time, Rina said that her summons had no suspect's name attached. Even so, she has submitted 39 bank statements to investigators, some of which belonged to her ex-husband.
The KPK also asked the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent two people from leaving the country regarding the corruption case at PT Taspen. One of them is the President Director of PT Taspen (Persero) Antonius N.S. Kosasih. Antonius has also been removed from his position by the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.
