Civil Servant Teacher In Sukoharjo Arrested For Land Fraud Case Of IDR 2.1 Billion
KLATEN - A female teacher who is a civil servant in Sukoharjo named Sahliyatul Khoiriyah (57) was arrested by the Klaten District Attorney (Kejari), Central Java.
The resident of Makamhaji, Kartosuro is a fugitive in an embezzlement fraud case related to the land mafia worth IDR 2.1 billion. The victim is a garment company from Korea.
Sahliyatul was arrested during his escape in Bekasi, West Java, by a joint team from the Attorney General's Office, Central Java Attorney General's Office, and Klaten Kejari.
When he arrived at the Klaten Kejari office, Sahliyatul's family was hysterical. Sahliyatul fled while serving city detention in an embezzlement fraud case worth Rp. 2.1 billion. The execution was carried out based on the Supreme Court's cassation decision Number 1096/k.pid/2022 dated October 26, 2023.
The head of the execution team who is also the Head of the Klaten Kejari Intelligence Section, Ruly Nasrullah, said that Sahliyatul Khoiriyah was a convict in a land sale fraud case in Troketon Village, Pedan District, Klaten, Central Java, in 2021.
The victim is a Korean garment company that intends to set up a factory in Klaten. The total loss reached IDR 2.1 billion.
Sahliyatul was sentenced to 1.2 years in prison at the Klaten District Court (PN). On the appeal submitted to the Central Java High Court (PT), the sentence actually increased to 2 years.
Furthermore, based on the appeal submitted, the Supreme Court (MA) refused and also upheld the decision of the High Court, namely 2 years in prison.
During the trial of the case, Sahliyatul was detained in the city. Before the execution was carried out, Sahliyatul fled. Therefore, it is designated as a fugitive or on the wanted list (DPO).

Together with its network, Sahliyatul claimed to own the land to be purchased by a Korean garment company. However, after the payment was made, it turned out that the land sold belonged to someone else.
Apart from Sahliyatul, the court has also sentenced one other convict. Notary parties serving transactions have also been investigated for their involvement in this land mafia case.
