3 Residents In Garut Hit By A Tree, Evacuated To The Hospital
GARUT - A number of police personnel together with the community evacuated three residents to the hospital for medical treatment because they were hit by a fallen tree in Sukahati Village, Cilawu District, Garut Regency, West Java.
Cilawu Police Chief Kompol M. Duhri said a number of police officers were immediately quick to help the community after receiving reports of fallen trees falling on three residents who were cleaning the graves in Waas Tonggoh Village, Sukahati Village.
"Knowing of the incident, Cilawu Police picket personnel immediately rushed to the TKP, at the TKP Cilawu Police picket personnel immediately evacuated the victim and took the victim to the Cilawu Health Center, and Dr. Slamet Hospital," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, March 9.

He said the incident began when the victim, who was a family, cleaned the family's grave at the Kampung Waas Tonggoh Public Cemetery (TPU), but suddenly it rained with strong winds.
They then rushed home, but while walking to the car parked in front of the TPU suddenly there was the sound of tree debris, and soon tree branches fell and hit the victim.
"Unexpectedly, the branches of the banyan tree with a diameter of approximately 50 centimeters accompanied by fallen branches hit the victim," he said.
He said the two victims were women, namely Yeyen (51) and Apriyani (29), residents of Cilawu District who received treatment at the Cilawu Health Center, then Deni (54), a resident of Banyuresmi District, Garut, who was referred to Dr. Slamet Garut Hospital.
