The Minister Of Social Affairs Ensures That Homes Are Damaged Due To Floods In Cirebon
Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini ensured that he was ready to help repair infrastructure and houses damaged by the flood disaster in Cirebon, West Java on Tuesday (5/3), provided that local residents submitted a proposal first.
"Later, Mr. Kuwu-Head of Village-can propose to us to repair damaged houses," said Risma when met after reviewing the flood-affected locations in SidaresmiCibon Village, reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 8.
The Minister of Social Affairs said that repairing damaged residents' residences must follow procedures. This means that the proposal must be made as soon as possible from the local village so that the correction process can be realized.
Risma explained, from the results of her review, it was found that several houses belonging to the community in Sidaresmi Village were damaged due to flooding.c
Even though the flood had receded, he admitted that he was concerned about the condition of the residents who were victims and suffered losses, not a few in terms of material and non-matter.

In fact, Risma had time to listen to complaints from residents in the village who were tired because floods always occur every year when the peak of the rainy season arrives.
"It's not finished yet, it's still how many days. We're starting to calculate aid for residents affected by the flood," he said.
The Minister of Social Affairs stated that to accelerate the post-flood handling process in Cirebon, the disaster preparedness cadet team (tagana) from the nearest regency/city was also deployed starting Saturday (9/3).
The tagana officers, said Risma, were alerted to help residents who were still struggling to clean their homes from mud from the former flood. They will also distribute aid logistics to the victims.
"Children tagana with our team have been here for a few days. After this we send the strength of the tagana team from the surrounding areas to increase capacity, especially food needs," he said.
