Thomas Doll's Ambition To Reward Victory In Persib Vs Persija Match
JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta will visit Persib Bandung headquarters in the 28th week of Liga 1 2023/2024 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 15.00 WIB.
Thomas Doll, coach of the Kemayoran Tigers, has ambitions to win to award supporters.
The German coach is well aware that victory is a fixed price because the Kemayoran Tigers had won three consecutive defeats before winning against Dewa United (4-1).
No wonder, he encouraged his team to go all out to get three points from Bandung.
"Everyone knows that the Persija vs Persib match is the largest derby in Indonesia and full of emotions. I know Persib is supported by supporters directly during training, as well as those of us who were visited by Jakmania (in training sessions)," said Persija coach Thomas Doll.

"I hope that in the match against Persib later, we want to please Jakmania and the team with good results," said Thomas again.
Meanwhile, regarding whether or not the host supporters could be present at the stadium, Thomas Doll assessed that the absence of supporters in the stadium would harm many parties.
The support of the 12th player means a lot to boost the motivation of both teams.
"I hope they (supporters) can still go to the stadium. I think their absence is not good for both teams."
"Of course with the supporters there will definitely be more support for Persib. However, the presence of supporters can also turn into motivational injections for my players," said Thomas.
However, the Persib vs Persija match with the audience was closed tightly.
The PSSI Appeal Commission rejected the appeal of Persib Bandung which was filed on March 3, 2024.
This means that Maung Bandung must serve a one-match sentence without spectators who were handed down by the PSSI Disciplinary Commission for the incident of clashes between supporters during the Persib vs PSIS Semarang match in the 26th week of Liga 1 2023/2024.
