MMKSI Brings L100 EVs To Commercial Future Vehicles At GIICOMVEC 2024
The variety of commercial vehicles was also exhibited at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2024 event, one of which was PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) which brought L100 EV.
L100 EVs are a battery-based light i-car 1 trading vehicle (BEV) and equipped with electric components including motors and driving batteries.
Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI, revealed that GIICOMVEC 2024 is the perfect platform for Mitsubishi to showcase the latest EV commercial vehicle.
"We have started selling this model since last February, as an important step to empower entrepreneurs and business owners across the country. This product is part of the Mitsubishi Motors environmental initiative to reduce CO2 emissions in commercial use. Since the end of last year, Mitsubishi L100 EV has been produced at our factory MMKI in Bekasi, where Indonesia was the first country to produce this model outside Japan," he said, in a statement to the media, quoted Friday, March 8.
He further said the L100 EV comes with attractive packages, designed to meet various business needs, offering a series of benefits and features tailored to drive success.
"I believe that GIICOMVEC will be the best opportunity for our customers to further recognize the advantages of vehicles that have proven their superiority with our main partners in Indonesia through a valuable PoC intensive study," he added.

Located in Hall A Booth A5, Mitsubishi Motors has a booth area of 130 m2 which accommodates 2 (two) units of display from Mitsubishi L100 EV. Interestingly, the model of light commercial vehicles displayed is a model that has obtained PT Pos Indonesia livery and also PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera (Lawson) which both have proven and felt firsthand the benefits of the lightweight EV trading Mitsubishi Motors model.
PT Pos Indonesia as one of the implementing partners in PoC activities has expressed further intention to use L100 EV in logistics operational activities at the Archipelago Capital Hub (IKN). During its use, this model has shown a very reliable role as a business partner and provides benefits in terms of more efficient and sustainable logistics operations.
Meanwhile, in terms of PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera (Lawson), this model is used as a shop car and maximizes the features and advantages of L100 EVs for their daily mobility in carrying a variety of goods sold by the company.
Not only the display unit, to maximize consumers in getting to know L100 EV, MMKSI also provides a test drive unit in order to experience the advantages offered by this model.
