PPK Tulungagung Member The Perpetrator Moved The Voice Of A Political Party To A Prospectively Tempted By Money To Pay Debts
TULUNGAGUNG - Member of the Boyolangu District Election Committee (PPK), Tulungagung, M. Hasan Maskur who was fired because he was proven to have cheated by shifting the votes of political parties to one of the legislative candidates (Caleg) admitted that he was tempted by the lure of money because he was pressed for needs to pay off bank debts.
"I ( felt) forced to do it because I needed money to pay off bank debts," Hasan Maskur said during an ethics trial at the Tulungagung KPU office, East Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 7.
Previously, the General Election Commission (KPU) of Tulungagung fired a member of the Boyolangu District Election Committee (PPK).
The PPK named M. Hasan Maskur is indicated to have shifted 186 votes in the February 14, 2024 elections.
Hasan Maskur's dismissal decision was marked by dissenting opinions or differences in the attitude of the three members of the ethics panel who tried this case.
Agus Safei, who is also the chairman of the ethics board, rejected the dismissal of Hasan, who is the Technical Division of PPK Boyolangu.
Agus reasoned that Hasan had been honest in admitting all his actions.
Hasan has also made voice improvements at the district level.
However, two other members of the assembly, Susanah (Chairman of KPU Tulungagung) and Muchamat Amarodin (Division of Sosdiklih Parmas and HR) decided to dismiss Hasan.
With a ratio of two to one, the ethics board finally decided to fire Hasan Maskur.
In the open trial, before the KPU Ethics Council Hasan said that initially he was invited to meet by BE (Panwascam Boyolangu) and BA (Panwascam Tulungagung City) three days after the February 14, 2024 elections.
"He was invited to meet in the 'Iki Angkringan' (which is located) in the Boyolangu Village/District," said Hasan.

"I don't know the legislative candidate, the BE and BA intermediaries," he said.
Apart from the Boyolangu PPK member, BE is one of the candidates for the KPU Commissioner for the period 224-2029. Hasan argued that at that time he was trapped in the need to pay debts at the bank.
According to him, the offer was a short step to get money instantly.
