Considered "Complete" About The Right Of Administrative Rights, Nasdem Admits He Has Talked With PDIP To Prepare Application Requirements

The political party faction of the Coalition of Amendments in the DPR through PKS and PKB has proposed the right of inquiry for alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election during a plenary session of the DPR. However, the NasDem Party was silent about not voicing the right of inquiry. Responding to this, the NasDem faction denied that its attitude regarding the right of inquiry was considered soft or sluggish. Member of the NasDem Party faction of the DPR RI, Taufik Basari, emphasized that his party was committed to using the right of inquiry in the DPR to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 Presidential Election. Until now, we have committed and support to be part of the right of inquiry," said Taufik Basari in his statement to reporters, Thursday, March 7.

Regarding the issue of not speaking up during the DPR plenary meeting, Tobas, his nickname, emphasized that the mechanism for submitting the right to inquiry was not in the plenary session. Currently, he said, the NasDem faction is preparing a mechanism for submitting the right to inquiry, namely preparing the foundation material for the application for the right of inquiry accompanied by the signature of members of the DPR across factions.

"So, if we think that we are not committed, we understand that the mechanism is not through interruption, the interruption is the conveyation of aspirations obtained from the community. More concretely, we will immediately prepare the requirements for this right of inquiry," said the legislator for the Lampung electoral district.

In fact, Tobas revealed, the NasDem faction has spoken with the PDIP faction as the initiator of the right to inquiry. As the largest faction in Senayan today, Tobas sees PDIP as one of the keys.

"Informally, there have been talks (with the PDIP faction), but we are still ensuring the maturation of this communication process. Because they initiated this proposal for the right of inquiry and also as the largest faction and we respect it, yes, we are also waiting for the readiness of the PDI-P," said Tobas.

Tobas also stated that the NasDem Party faction was ready to continue the right to inquiry for alleged election fraud even without PDIP or resigning. Because, he said, the NasDem Party was preparing the requirements for submitting the right to inquiry.

Tobas said that the application for the right of inquiry would soon be sent to the leadership of the DPR. Most importantly, according to him, the steps taken must be measured.

"This means that the substance must be strong, including the reasons, for example which violations of the law occur, what policies we want to investigate, or which budget misuses have occurred so far, that is what we must ensure is contained in our application for the right of inquiry," concluded Tobas.
