Ahead Of Ramadan, Dozens Of Street Children In Tangerang Regency Caught In Satpol PP Raids
TANGERANG - A total of 18 Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) were caught in the Satpol PP raid in the Tangerang Regency area. These 18 PMKS are like ( punk children). The targets targeted by officers are homeless people, beggars, buskers and punk-style street children, who are often seen on the side of the road.
"This raid was carried out before the Holy Month of Ramadan to provide a sense of security and comfort to the community, especially road users," said Tangerang Regency Head of Satpol PP Agus Suryana to reporters, Wednesday, March 5.
Agus also explained that if later dozens of PMKS who were successfully secured would be given training and debriefing in the form of skills.
"They will be recorded and taken to the PMKS Rehabilitation UPT for guidance and training to work with the aim that later they will no longer return to the road," he said.

Agus revealed that this control was carried out at several points in the Tangerang Regency area, such as Tigaraksa, Cikupa, Balaraja, Pasar Kemis and Rajeg sub-districts.
"The target of the region is starting from the red lights Tigaraksa, Cikupa, Citra Raya, Gelam Jaya at Pasar Kemis, the Rajeg red light and the Balaraja Flyover," he said.
He said that his party would carry out this raid routinely during the holy month of Ramadan in areas that were considered by many PMKS.
