MG4 XPower Introduced In Malaysia, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - Making his debut in July last year, MG4 XPower is now exhibited in Malaysia in the preview version. This car is a high-performance version of the MG4 EV lineup.

Although the MG4 EV XPower has no significant design difference compared to other variants, the MG only provides special improvements such as an orange "XPower" caliber brake, two-color black roof, the latest 18-inch rim with Bridgestone Turanza tires, and updated trim accents.

Reporting from Paultan, Wednesday, February 6, this car has the same cabin design as other variants, with a pair of screens on the dashboard, consisting of 7 digital inches in front of the driver and 10.25 inches of touchscreen units.

This car also carries iSmart technology that helps drivers. By saying "Hello MG", users can access charging schedules, availability of charging points, route planners, and control AC.

Meanwhile, MG4 XPower is presented with a qualified safety feature in the MG Pilot, consisting of Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Intelligent High Beam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Here the difference is as a high performance version of MG4 EV, XPower is equipped with a dual electric motor that powers 429 dk and 600 Nm torque, making it the largest MG car to date. Or double the MG 4 EV.

With an impressive four-wheel drive system, the MG4 EV XPower is capable of hitting speeds of 0-100 km/hour within 3.8 seconds, also supported by the latest technology in terms of launch control.

Although its performance is improved, MG still uses the same battery as the Long Range variant on XPower, with a capacity of 62 kWh. However, the power range must be reduced from 452 km to 384 km.

With such a battery capacity, MG4 XPower can charge quickly from 10-80 percent within 35 minutes with a charging capacity of 150 kW.

Although it has not been launched in the neighboring country market in the near future, the estimated price of this car will reach around 159,000 ringgit or equivalent to IDR 528.8 million.
