Investigate Cases Of Harassment Of The Chancellor Of Pancasila University, Police Involve P3A And Police Doctors
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will involve the DKI Jakarta Province Women and Children Protection Center (P3A) and a team of police doctors in handling cases of alleged sexual harassment involving the Chancellor of the inactive Pancasila University, Edie Toet Hendratno, as reported.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said that later the P3A team would examine a psychological son and a police doctor regarding psychiatry.
"Investigators will communicate with or coordinate in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Women and Children Protection Center and also communicate and coordinate with a team of doctors from the National Police for examination," Ade told reporters, Tuesday, March 5.
The involvement of P3A and the National Police doctor was to ensure whether or not there was sexual harassment against the reporter DF and DZ.
Given that, in the reporting carried out by the two, the alleged harassment occurred quite a long time ago.
In addition, investigators will also examine other witnesses. Most recently, Edie Toet Hendratno is planning to be questioned.
However, it has not been conveyed in detail about the timing of the examination.

In addition, Edie Toet Hendratno was also reported by RZ who is an employee at Pancasila University. The report is registered with the number LP/B/193/I/2024/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated January 12, 2024.
In handling the report, investigators have asked Edie for information on March 1.
In both reports, Edie Toet Hendratno is suspected of violating Article 6 of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).
