AHY Wants The Code Of Ethics For Land Deed Making Officials To Be Strengthened

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said the need for policies that can strengthen the integrity and capacity of human resources (HR) of Land Deed Making Officials or PPAT.

This was said by AHY when receiving an audience with the Land Deed Making Officers Association (IPPAT) in the ATR Ministerial Meeting Room/Head of BPN, Jakarta on Tuesday, March 5. This hearing discussed the PPAT Code of Ethics

"In all professions and roles, there are two fundamental things that human resources need to have, namely integrity and capacity. For this reason, policies are needed that can strengthen human resource integrity so as not to damage the organization," said AHY, confiscated by Antara.

When discussing the code of ethics, AHY also fully supports efforts to strengthen the integrity of human resources (HR), especially at IPPAT and the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

For information, AHY emphasized that he wanted to present legal certainty regarding land issues.

He wants to side with the people who want to build in their own land. He does not want land mafia practices to prevent all parties from advancing. AHY also felt optimistic that in the remaining eight months of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) period, he would be able to meet the targets of the ministry he leads.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that he is targeting three things that AHY must complete after being inaugurated as Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). First, Jokowi requested that electronic certificates be encouraged more massively. Second, the President asked AHY to complete the issuance of the Cultivation Rights for the carbon trading mechanism. Third, President Jokowi also targets 120 million plots of land to be registered through Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL).
