Prior to signing a collaboration with Pophouse Entertainment Group, Lauper claimed to be the connoisseur of ABBA Voyage. He fell in love with the unique show from the Swedish group.
When I saw ABBA Voyage, I started thinking about what could be done, and then I got excited. I didn't sell, I bought," Lauper said.
For information, ABBA Voyage is a virtual concert held by ABBA, where the concert features a virtual avatar, as the group described when appearing in 1979.
Lauper revealed that he took on this new project by including a live-to-face show and his small screen plans.
However, the deal does not include Cyndi Lauper's career on Broadway, which includes writing and music for the Kinky Boots, the sixth winner of the Tony Awards.
