Using Modern Technology, First Toll Progress In Jambi Reaches 54.28 Percent
JAKARTA - The Bayung-Lencir-Tempino Toll Road (JTTS) Project Section 3 continues to be accelerated. This is the first toll road in Jambi Province.
PT Hutama Karya (Persero) reported that the progress of the toll road has reached around 54.3 percent to date.
"The first toll project in Jambi Province: Bayung Lencir-Tempino-Jambi with a length of 15.4 kilometers (km) as of February 15, 2024, shows significant progress, reaching 54.3 percent," said Hutama Karya's management quoted from Instagram @hutamakarya, quoted Monday, March 4.
The toll road construction has started since May 2023 with a project value of IDR 2.76 trillion.
The project work scheme is in the form of operational cooperation (KSO) between PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) and Hutama Karya (KSO HK-Wika-BAP).
At the construction stage, Hutama Karya also implemented various latest construction digitization technologies, such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) Level 5D, Light Detection and Ranking (LiDAR), Electric Density Gauge (EDG) and Load Scanner.
"This technology is to ensure that infrastructure work is more efficient with good quality and quality and environmentally friendly," he said.
The project by KSO HK-Wika-BAP involves a series of jobs, including rigid pavement main road, an elevated main road structure using slab on pile, overpass bridge structure, underpass bridge, underpass bridge at intersections and toll road access.
The presence of the first toll road in Jambi iti is expected to improve the economic sector and facilitate connectivity between provinces.
"With the spirit of opening connectivity, this toll road will connect Palembang and Jambi which will have a positive impact on the community," he said.
