Feeling Lack Of Religiousity, Dikta Hasn't Thought About Working On Religious Songs
JAKARTA - Ahead of Ramadan, usually many Indonesian singers or music groups release religious songs. This phenomenon becomes a habit that occurs in the Indonesian music industry once a year.
By releasing religious songs ahead of Ramadan, it is undeniable that the possibility of the song being heard by many people in a short time is getting bigger, not to mention the offer of performing during Ramadan.
However, Pradikta Wicaksono alias Dikta admitted that he had not thought about releasing religious songs. He felt that he was not quite religious.
"I'm not religious enough, what about it? Not yet," said Dikta in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 28.
The former Yovie & Nuno personnel said there was a big responsibility when someone performed religious songs. He felt there should be a similar image between the song and the musician.
For me, religious songs are very heavy responsibility. Because the song is religious, it's not the person, right? " said Dikta.
"I don't want to be a hypocritical," he added.

However, Dikta could not confirm what his decision would be if he was offered to perform religious songs one day. The possibility will always be open.
"Yes, maybe I don't know either, it means we don't know what the future will be. There could be an offer or maybe I want to be more religious and compose religious songs, I don't know," he said.
