Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road Rates Rise, Here Are The Details

PT Transjawa Paspro Toll Road (TPJT) will adjust the toll tariff on the Pasuruan-Probolinggo (Paspro) Toll Road for the Grati-Probolinggo Timur Section and the implementation of new tariffs at the East-Gending Probolinggo Section in the near future.

The tariff adjustment was made based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 418/KPTS/M/2024. Later, the tariff adjustment and application of the new tariff will apply to all groups of vehicles with various rates and according to the objectives of road users.

The 39.37 kilometer (km) Paspro toll road was built in two stages, namely the 30.3 km Grati-Probolinggo Timur Section which has been operating since 2019 and the 9.07 km East-Gending Probolinggo Section which has been operating without tariffs since August 17, 2023.

The Paspro toll road itself has four (4) Toll Gates, namely Tongas, West Probolinggo, East Probolinggo and Gending.

TPJT President Director Mulya Setiawan said, with this tariff adjustment, TPJT can maintain toll road services to increase comfort and security for road users.

As for the process of adjusting the tariff and determining the new tariff, TPJT has met the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) that have been set, such as traffic services, information and communication system services and carrying out routine and periodic maintenance and duties.

TPJT also has four (4) type B Rest and Service Places (TIP) as a rest area for toll road users located at KM 819A, KM 819B, KM 833A and KM 833B.

"TPJT has a variety of traffic service fleets that are ready to assist toll road users, such as ambulances, patrol vehicles, cranes and rescue vehicles. We also continue to actively improve toll road conditions by also installing guardrails, road markings and traffic signs to improve the safety of toll road users," he said in a written statement, Thursday, February 29.

With the tariff adjustment at the Grati-Probolinggo Timur Section, toll road users with Class I vehicles from Grati to Tongas, West Probolinggo and East Probolinggo will be charged a tariff of IDR 17,000, IDR 26,000 and IDR 40,000, respectively.

Toll road users with Class II and III vehicles from the same origin and destination will be charged a fare of IDR 25,500, IDR 39,000 and IDR 60,000.

Then, toll road users with Class IV and V vehicles will be charged a tariff of Rp. 34,000, Rp. 52,500 and Rp. 80,000.

Meanwhile, with the implementation of the new tariff in the Probolinggo Timur-Gending Section, Grati to Gending is subject to a tariff of IDR 52,000 for Class I road users. Users of the Group II & III toll road with the same route will be subject to a new tariff of IDR 78,000 and Group IV & V is subject to a tariff of IDR 104,000.
