OIKN Collaborates With Canberra Authority To Develop IKN
The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) is collaborating with Australia through The National Capital Authority of The Commonwealth of Australia or the Capital Authority of Canberra. The collaboration between the two institutions was established to develop IKN Nusantara in East Kalimantan.
OIKN Head Bambang Susantono said the cooperation carried out included development, promotion and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation by both parties. Canberra with urban planning and management is considered capable of becoming a development partner for the archipelago.
"This is a new achievement for us (OIKN) to cooperate with Canberra's (Money Government Authority). We hope that in the future the exchange of knowledge can happen for things that are specifically owned by the two cities," said Bambang Susantono in a written statement, quoted Wednesday, February 28.
Meanwhile, CEO of National Capital Authority of Australia Sally Barnes also admitted that she was enthusiastic about the cooperation with OIKN. According to him, the development of IKN Nusantara with a sustainable and green concept became an attraction in the 21st century.
"Of course, we will get a lot of support from the wider community, including us," he said.
