Brotherhood Bar Where Millen Cyrus Hangout Is Sealed And Closed, Head Of Civil Police: Sanction Is Being Discussed

JAKARTA - The Civil Service Police Unit of South Jakarta has prepared heavy sanctions for Gunawarman Brotherhood Bar, Kebayoran Baru.

The sanction was given following a violation of health protocols and operating hours stipulated in Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).

"Sanctions for closure and sealing have been given, for the next sanctions either to violate regional regulations or governor regulations are being discussed by the provincial Civil Service Police Unit and the Tourism Office as supervisors," said Head of Civil Service Police Unit of South Jakarta, Ujang Hermawan, as reported by Antara, Sunday, February 28.

During the raid at 00.15 Western Indonesia Time, one of the visitors, a celebgram Millen Cyrus was caught by an officer raid.

For the second time, this celebgram was secured by officers, because the results of the urine test of the person concerned showed positive for containing benzodiazepam.

Ujang said, business premises that exceed the operational time limit during PPKM will be subjected to sanctions in accordance with Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 3 of 2021.

In Pergub Number 3 of 2021 Article 12 states that sanctions will be given in the form of written warnings, temporary suspension of activities, administrative fines, temporary suspension of permits and/or revocation of licenses.

"We are coordinating with the Jakarta Civil Police for further sanctions, whether they violate PPKM or regional regulations and governorates will be reviewed by the Jakarta Police and the Tourism Office," said Ujang.

Previously, the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Research Directorate together with the Jakarta Civil Service conducted a health protocol raid at the Gunawarman Brotherhood Bar, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The Gunawarman Brotherhood Bar is also still operating and crowded with visitors even though the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has limited the operating hours of cafes, bars, and restaurants to only 21.00 Western Indonesia Time.

During the raid, officers from the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Research Directorate carried out an antigen swab test to ensure that no new Covid-19 cluster appeared.

After emptying the bar, Satpol PP officers then sealed the place, and officers from the Jakarta Police's Narcotics Research Directorate also set a police line at the Koda Bar.
